For over three decades, Ulticon has approached workplace health and safety as a fundamental aspect of our operations. Under the leadership of President and Chairman Carlos “Charlie” S. Gonzalez, the company has maintained its focus on safeguarding the workforce by adopting industry-leading safety standards. The renewal of this certification reflects our proactive efforts to ensure that all aspects of our operations align with global benchmarks.

Why ISO 45001:2018 Certification Matters

It also fosters a culture of prevention, where risks are systematically managed to minimize accidents and hazards. For Ulticon, this certification is more than a compliance requirement—it is a core component of how we operate.

Achieving this renewal required undergoing thorough audits conducted by third-party experts. These assessments reviewed our systems, from risk assessments to incident response plans, ensuring that our policies and practices not only meet but exceed legal and regulatory requirements. The successful renewal of this certification solidifies Ulticon’s reputation as a company that prioritizes the welfare of its people and stakeholders.

In 2009, They passed three ISO certificates, namely: EMS, QMS and OHSMS. This was certainly in the books, because this would mean they could now bid projects that would cost P100 million and up.

Carlos “Charlie” Gonzalez, Vice-President of Ulticon Builders, understands the importance of having a company culture.

Your company culture defines the way in which your organization interacts with one another and how the team interacts with the outside world, specifically your partners and suppliers.

It’s the formula that guides the team, as well as inspires and motivates employees. It is also responsible for attracting and retaining great talent, as well as creating a fun, happy and exciting work environment.

A great company culture also attracts a great partner which, in turn, creates great success! People will want to do business with you because of what you believe in and stand for, rather than solely on your products alone. Understanding this principle will quickly allow you to see the importance of company culture.
