At Ulticon Builders Inc., we know that quality construction begins with clear communication, strategic planning, and teamwork. As a company responsible for delivering major infrastructure projects across Mindanao and beyond, we prioritize seamless coordination between our project sites and support departments. This commitment was reinforced during a critical PE/PICCoordination Meeting with our project leaders from Regions XI and XIII.
The gathering brought together engineers, project heads, legal and operational teams, and key department leads under one roof to discuss how to keep our projects moving efficiently. More than just a planning session, it was a demonstration of how we practice excellence and integrity in every stage of our work.
This meeting was not just about reviewing numbers. It was about strengthening accountability, promoting collaboration, and laying the groundwork for continued success.
At the heart of the coordination meeting was a detailed comparison of actual accomplishments versus projected targets across our various projects. This exercise is standard practice for Ulticon, as it helps identify where we are ahead, where we may be falling behind, and what needs to be done to stay on track.
Each project engineer and project-in-charge had the opportunity to present updates, highlight wins, and raise concerns. From road development to bridge construction, every site’s performance was evaluated objectively, not only to measure output but also to understand the unique challenges each team faces.
By fostering open discussions around real data, we empower our teams to make better, faster, and more informed decisions. This is how we consistently deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
One of the most valuable outcomes of the PE/PIC Coordination Meeting was the opportunity to surface problems that may affect timelines or quality. Challenges like equipment delays, labor gaps, unforeseen site conditions, or coordination issues were brought to the table.
But what made the meeting successful was not just the identification of issues. It was the willingness of every department to offer support and solutions. Fleet Management committed to faster deployment schedules. Procurement agreed to revisit lead times for critical materials.
Engineering offered technical consultations for complex site requirements. Legal and Human Resources provided guidance on compliance and workforce support.
This kind of multi-departmental collaboration is what makes Ulticon Builders efficient and resilient. We are not just a collection of departments or isolated project teams. We operate as one unified force with a shared purpose.
Accountability is one of the defining characteristics of Ulticon’s operations. Every project we undertake carries a responsibility—not only to our clients but to the communities who depend on these infrastructures for mobility, safety, and economic activity.
The coordination meeting served as a reminder that every team member, from project engineer to department head, has a role in fulfilling that responsibility. Targets were not only reviewed but reaffirmed, and expectations were clearly set. This clarity fuels urgency, responsibility, and most of all, ownership.
Carlos “Charlie” Gonzalez Ulticon co-founder and Chairman, has long emphasized the importance of accountability in leadership. He believes that when expectations are clear andsupport is present, people rise to meet them. His guidance continues to shape the culture at Ulticon, where everyone is encouraged to lead from where they are.
With ongoing projects in Regions XI and XIII, it is vital that Ulticon maintains consistency in execution and reporting. The PE/PIC Coordination Meeting allowed regional project teams to align their practices and benchmarks with central operations.
This alignment helps eliminate duplication of work, sets uniform standards, and ensures that our signature brand of quality and excellence is upheld in every site, regardless of location. It also allowed teams from different regions to learn from each other, exchange best practices, and foster a sense of shared progress.
Even as each site operates under unique conditions, the Ulticon standard remains the same—timely, safe, and world-class project delivery.
Ulticon invests heavily in people because we know that empowered project leaders are key to our long-term success. The coordination meeting was also an opportunity to mentor, train, and strengthen our pool of engineers and PICs.
Senior leaders from Operations, Legal, and HR shared insights on compliance, labor relations, site management, and professional development. These touchpoints serve not only as operational support but also as leadership development for our on-ground managers.
By equipping our site leaders with knowledge and mentorship, we ensure that Ulticon’s values are carried into every decision, every negotiation, and every project milestone.
What sets Ulticon Builders apart is not just our capacity to build, but our ability to manage, coordinate, and deliver—no matter how complex the task or how distant the location. That is why we continue to be the contractor of choice for government and private clients across the country.
Carlos Charlie Gonzalez Ulticon has built this company on principles that never waver: excellence in execution, innovation in process, integrity in every commitment, and care for the people who carry out our mission. Meetings like these prove that we are living those values each day.
Our projects may be technical, but our approach is always human. That is how we continue to build not just structures, but trust.
As Ulticon Builders continues to grow and expand across Regions X, XI, and XIII, we will keep strengthening the coordination between our teams and leaders. We believe that no success is ever accidental—it is built with intent, consistency, and shared accountability.
Through initiatives like the PE/PIC Coordination Meeting, we are actively shaping a future where Ulticon remains a leader in construction and project management. We are proud of our people, our processes, and our partnerships. We are proud to build the roads that connect communities and the systems that make those roads possible.
Most of all, we are proud to do it together.
