Ulticon Leads Heartfelt Mother’s Day Tribute 2025

A Celebration Rooted in Gratitude

At Ulticon Builders Inc., building with purpose goes beyond roads, bridges, and cityscapes. It also means nurturing the people behind every milestone. One meaningful way we do that is by honoring our team members not only as professionals but also as parents and individuals.

In this year’s Mother’s Day 2025 celebration, we embraced the opportunity to express heartfelt appreciation to the mothers in our workforce. For a company known for world-class infrastructure and engineering expertise, moments like these remind us that human connection is just as essential as technical precision.

The celebration was carefully planned and thoughtfully executed, reflecting our values of care, teamwork, and excellence. While we pride ourselves on delivering large-scale infrastructure projects across the Philippines, we believe our real strength lies in how we care for the people who make those projects possible.

Honoring the Women Who Build with Us

Mothers at our Davao City main office were treated to a selection of wellness services. These included relaxing massages, manicures, and pedicures, giving them time to slow down and indulge in a moment of self-care. The atmosphere was warm and cheerful. Conversations flowed. Smiles filled the room. It was a welcome break from the usual office routine, but more than that, it was a clear reminder that their work, both at home and at Ulticon, is seen and valued.

In our project sites across the country, the celebration took on a more creative form. We launched the “Recreate a Photo with Your Mom!” contest, encouraging employees to share personal stories through photos. Participants recreated special moments with their mothers and posted their entries online using the campaign hashtag. Each submission told a story of love, resilience, and pride. It was a powerful way to bridge distances and make sure no mother working on-site was left out of the celebration.

Regional winners received tokens of appreciation, but the real reward was the emotional connection this activity sparked within teams and families. Some recreated graduation day photos. Others posed with their mothers at their childhood homes. Every image was a tribute to the strength and guidance of mothers past and present.

The Influence of Leadership and Company Culture

This celebration was not a one-time event or an obligatory gesture. It reflects a deeply ingrained culture at Ulticon Builders Inc., one championed by our President and Chairman, Carlos “Charlie” Gonzalez. From the earliest days of Ulticon, Mr. Gonzalez has emphasized that investing in people is just as important as investing in equipment or technology.

Under his leadership, Ulticon has grown into a Quadruple A contractor with over 3,000 employees and more than 500 completed projects. Yet even as the company has expanded, we have never lost sight of what makes us strong—our people.

Carlos “Charlie” Gonzalez Ulticon has always believed that excellence in construction begins with excellence in treatment of personnel. Events like the Mother’s Day celebration are not extras. They are essentials. They reinforce a workplace culture where employees are seen not as resources, but as individuals with lives, families, and stories.

That approach is part of what sets Ulticon apart in the Philippine construction industry. We aim not only to deliver infrastructure on time and to standard, but also to build an internal culture that mirrors the strength and integrity of our work in the field.

A Company Built on Values That Matter

At the heart of our work is a clear set of values: integrity, innovation, excellence, teamwork, care, and health and safety. These values shape not just how we build infrastructure, but how we build relationships.

Mother’s Day is an opportunity to live out those values in a real and tangible way. When we prioritize employee well-being, we foster a healthier, more motivated, and more loyal workforce. When we take time to honor the personal lives of our team members, we show that Ulticon is not just a place of employment. it is a community.

This mindset extends beyond the workplace. In our Corporate Social Responsibility efforts, we are consistently committed to uplifting far-flung communities, supporting disaster response, and partnering with organizations focused on health and education. All of this is grounded in the same belief: when you put people first, progress naturally follows.

Recognizing the Dual Roles Mothers Play

In any workplace, mothers carry a dual load—meeting the demands of their job while nurturing their families. In industries like construction, where schedules are tight and the work is physically and mentally demanding, this balance becomes even more remarkable.

The women of Ulticon bring strength and empathy to both roles. They are planners, engineers, accountants, architects, coordinators, and managers. And once the workday ends, many go home to raise children, manage households, and care for loved ones. Their ability to juggle all of this with grace and skill deserves more than just recognition. It deserves celebration.

By investing in events like our Mother’s Day 2025 celebration, we’re not only showing gratitude. We’re also creating an environment where these incredible women feel supported and empowered to thrive.

Stories that Build Legacy

Throughout the day, we heard stories that reminded us why this celebration matters. One employee shared how her mother encouraged her to work in construction, despite the challenges. Another recalled how her daughter now looks up to her, proud that her mom helps build roads that connect cities. These stories are not just heartwarming they’re part of our legacy as a company.

They remind us that infrastructure is more than concrete and steel. It is about connection, access, and opportunity. And at Ulticon, those connections begin within our own walls, with people whose stories shape our success.

Looking Forward with Purpose

Mother’s Day 2025 may have passed, but its spirit continues to influence how we work. At Ulticon, every celebration is also a reflection of where we are headed. We are committed to growth that doesn’t sacrifice humanity. We want to be a leader not only in infrastructure but in shaping a kind, inclusive, and progressive workplace culture.

We will continue to champion women in the construction industry. We will continue to create spaces for dialogue, support, and empowerment. And we will continue to celebrate life’s most meaningful roles, both on and off the job site.

A Lasting Message of Gratitude

To all the mothers at Ulticon Builders Inc., your dedication inspires us. Your strength moves us forward. And your love helps build not only families, but also the future of this company and the communities we serve.

This Mother’s Day celebration was our way of saying thank you, but it was also a promise. A promise that we will continue to stand by our people, support their journey, and celebrate the individuals who make Ulticon what it is today.

As we move forward, the legacy of Carlos “Charlie” Gonzalez Ulticon continues to guide us. A legacy of building with heart, leading with integrity, and always putting people first.
